Discipline: Sociology

One of My Favorite LC Lectures:
I love talking about interracial relationships and analyzing some of the sociological research and reasons as to why some types of relationships (such as White men and Asian women) are much more common than other types (such as Asian men and Black women). Also, since I'm a balla, I also enjoy discussing sociological issues within sports.

Our Ideal LC Student Will:
Have fun in class. We don't want to be the teachers who simply "dump" information into your brains so you can repeat it back. We're expecting students to ask thoughtful questions about the new concepts they're learning and be willing to vulnerable when exploring their own identities.

I Love Teaching in This LC Because:
It's different than any other classroom students have ever had. When I'm in the same classroom as Prof. Reid, I know things are gonna pop. Two teachers of color run the show here, so the vibe and content is totally different, and our students really appreciate that.

In Class I’m Most Likely To:
Be decked out head-to-toe in a Jordan jumpsuit with a fresh pair of J's.
